Judith Roddy stars in Sam Shepard’s “A Particle of Dread” in NYC

Sam Shepard and the cast of A Particle of Dread.

Sam Shepard’s newest play A Particle of Dread is set to open in Signature Theatre, NYC on the 11th of November after a highly successful run in the Derry Playhouse. The play, directed by Shepard himself, is being produced by Field Day Theatre Company which was founded by Brian Friel and Stephen Rea.

The play is described as a dark, fragmented contemporary examination of the Greek classic Oedipus Rex and features a cast from both sides of the Atlantic. Judith Roddy stars in the production as  Annalee/Antigone, playing the daughter of Oedipus and that of his contemporary counterpart in the play.

The production will be running in the Signature Theatre in New York City from the 11th of November to the 21st of December. To book tickets click here!
